NanoArt!

NanoArt is a new art discipline, which combines an art and scientific and technical creativity to reflect and examine the invisible reality of the matter, looking for a new links and aesthetical - philosophical - historical - sociological – political contexts. The world at the level of 10-9 m offers inexhaustible shaped potential and this is where the fundamental self-organisation processes takes place blurring the difference between animate and inanimate etc.
Captured and displayed through powerful research instruments these nanoprocesses and nanomaterials can be transformed using various techniques into the modern visual art. The broad artistic reflection is ranging from metaphoric presentation and “modeling” of nanosystems and nanomaterials to the practical utilization their unique physical-chemical properties to interact with the macroscopic outer environment, and next to modern forms includes also classical media such as paintings, sculptures and installations.
