Alamyra Weigel Bartkevičiuté, Jolana Šmidtiené - UV light

Lithuanian artists present their work in the dark irradiated by UV light. The authors use complex organic dyes and pigments that absorb the invisible UV radiation, and emit visible light in the blue part of the visible spectra. The viewers thus find themselves in the midst of glowing artworks exposed to the intensive nature of art itself. The photochemical reaction also allows the viewer to experience new dimension of reality the magical space of nano.
